We are the voice of California's economic development incentive programs.
California's Enterprise Zone program was established in 1984 to stimulate business investment in depressed areas of the State and create job opportunities for Californians. Today, businesses and workers both continue to benefit from the program.
Enterprise Zones create and retain jobs, even in the most difficult economic times.
Enterprise Zones are empowerment through employment. The incentives provide unprecedented access to quality jobs, alleviate the stress on our beleaguered social service programs and help bring entire neighborhoods out of poverty.
The California Association of Enterprise Zones is dedicated to promoting job creation and economic development through the successful Enterprise Zone program. Since 1990, we have been promoting the Enterprise Zone program through legislative action at the state and federal level and by creating a regional and statewide dialogue on improving economic activity through the Enterprise Zone program.
